Aisling is Medical Director at Ufonia, where she is responsible for clinical safety, regulatory strategy, and the research and evidence generation that demonstrates to patients, clinicians and regulators that Dora is a safe and effective solution. She is also a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in cornea at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Digital Co-Lead for Ophthalmology, and a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Digital Subcommittee. She is passionate about showcasing the potential of digital technology in healthcare while ensuring it meets the evidence requirements for clinical adoption, and collaborates with clinicians and academics internationally on innovative projects in clinical AI.
Outside Ufonia, Aisling enjoys singing, travelling, and exploring food and drink from around the world.
