Zach is an AI Research Engineer working on the development and evaluation of voice-based conversational AI for clinical settings. He graduated from the University of Oxford in 2025 with a Master's in Engineering Science, with a final-year thesis on bias in neural networks for medical imaging. His interests sit at the intersection of state-of-the-art speech technology and its real-world application to patient-facing, safety-critical systems.
Outside of work, he enjoys following and playing sports, wild swimming, and playing music.
